 REgistration opens June 15th!

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW PRIOR TO REGISTERING YOUR CHILD:

The whole process could take roughly 30 minutes, so please allow yourself enough time to read, understand, and complete all of the steps in this process as they are all important for the successful completion of your registration. 

MANDATORY Every registrant must have an up-to-date SHIFT FORWARD - Parent in order to register. For more info, please visit the Shift Forward page.

  • Each Stream (Raiders Community and House League) has its own registration link. Please be mindful of which link you are choosing to register. 
  • Please review our section on House League Information if you are unsure which program to register for. This page of our website provides a comparison of the two streams.
  • Streams offered at Raiders Hockey:
    • Community League for the U7 to U21 age divisions. 
  • U13 AA: $150 Tryout fee is required. For players who make the team, the U13 AA registration Fee will be $1,950. This program will include; additional ice times, frequent full ice practices, 1.5hr ice times for games, and dryland training sessions. This elite team will be structured according to the elite hockey program model, and will include an Elite Level Certified Coach.
  • JR C Tryouts are required, see the section on JR C Tryouts.
  •  House League for the U9 and U11 age divisions only. 
  • Registrations will be completed online through the new TeamLinkt registration portal. 
  • Online registration will accept both VISA and MasterCard as the preferred method of payment.
  • Full payment or a staggered payment plan can be chosen to pay for the fees.

If you are New to Hockey, you will be required to follow the steps as found below in the New Player section, prior to gaining access to the registration.

If you are transferring from another hockey association, email administrator1@raidershc.ca providing the player’s full name, their date of birth, their HCR # if known and the hockey association they have been playing with.

You will be required to provide your Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) ID Number for Registration. If you don’t have this number, refer to this link: Where to find your Hockey Canada ID#

New Player Information

My child is playing hockey for the first time.

 STEP 1: (parent) Complete the required steps to get your child a Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) ID number. Here are the directions.

  • NOTE: If you are registering a new player with siblings already with Raiders Hockey you will need to add your new player to your Shift Forward - Parent account

STEP 2: (parent) Proof of Player Age and Residency

E-mail administrator1@raidershc.ca with the following information:

PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD these documents to your player's HCR profile this must be submitted via email.

  • The subject line should read: New to Hockey– Child’s name
  • Proof of age: Scanned copy or clear digital photo of the player’s Birth Certificate or Passport.
  • Proof of Residency (TWO):
    • TWO of any of the below
      • Current proof of residency with your name and address, these must be scanned or clear digital photos. This can include a recent Utility Bill – within the last month, please make sure it reflects both the mailing and service address (the entire page must be visible)
    • PLEASE NOTE: a driver’s license, cellular phone bill or property tax bill will NOT be accepted as proof of residence
  • If you do not have any of the above due to a possession date please see below as your temporary proof of residency:

    • A signed purchase/rental agreement with a possession date.
    • If moving to a home under construction - a signed builder agreement with a possession date
    • All of the above dates must coincide with Hockey Calgary regulations that all players must be within boundaries by Sept 1st the start of the current season

financial aid options

Families that require financial assistance may apply to one of the below stated programs. Hockey Calgary provides funding only through the Flames Even Strength Program application. You will be required to complete your FESP application online and submit it directly to Hockey Calgary. You must register first with Raiders Hockey Club and pay a portion before applying for this funding.
